Venerable Ananda

Venerable Ānanda approached The Blessed One, worshipped, sat on a side and The Blessed One said:

“Ānanda, the bhikkhu without faith should grow, develop and increase in this dispensaton is not a possibility.

Ānanda, the unvirtuous bhikkhu should grow, develop and increase in this dispensaton is not a possibility.

Ānanda, the not learned bhikkhu should grow, develop and increase in this dispensaton is not a possibility.

Ānanda, the unruly bhikkhu should grow, develop and increase in this dispensaton is not a possibility.
